How overtime and hours work
Syntec follows the 35-hour statutory reference week for employees tracked on hours. Absolute weekly working time is capped at 48 hours, with a 44-hour average across any 12 consecutive weeks, and daily working time is limited to 10 hours within a 13-hour span. A minimum of 11 consecutive hours of daily rest applies between shifts. Overtime is paid at a rising premium: hours from 36 to 43 carry a 25 percent premium, and hours from 44 onward carry 50 percent. The annual overtime quota is 220 hours. Note that many Syntec employees, particularly autonomous cadres, are instead on a day-based forfait-jours arrangement rather than hourly overtime accounting.
